What separates DJ Chizz from other DJs?
  • ​We bring energy, experience, and elegance to your special day! With the experience from thousands of weddings, we know what it takes to make yours a remarkable one. We understand that in order to make this a night to remember, we must perform in a very specific, detailed fashion. From mood setting, mixing and blending of songs, to making announcements, we must do our best to ensure that your day is exactly what you dreamed of.

What is the process of hiring DJ Chizz?
  • ​First, you would contact DJ Chizz via email, phone, or this website to check for the availability of your date. If your date is available, we would set up an initial orientation to gather the details of your event. After the initial orientation, we'll meet on an as needed basis. Then, we'll give you a call a week prior to your day to ensure that everything is set and ready to go for the event!

​What type of events do you do?
  • Any event that you can think of! We've done just about every event under the sun. From weddings, concerts, night clubs, birthday parties, proms, corporate events, and just about any other event that requires fun and entertainment! We don't stick to one particular type of event. We do them all!

When should we book?
  • ​Bookings are on a first come, first serve basis. Thus, it is best to book as soon as you have a date for event.

What is your payment policy?
  • ​We accept cash, checks, and electronic forms of payment. However, for electronic forms of payment there is a 5% processing fee.

What kind of music do you have?
  • ​All kinds of music! Music from all decades, genres, ages, and all walks of life! Our music database includes over 20,000 songs. We have music for every occasion you can imagine!

What kind of equipment do you use?
  • ​The size of your event depends on the amount of equipment needed. For sound, we use Electro Voice Active ZLX speakers, Pioneer DDJ-SX mixer, white speaker stand scrims, and a 4ft. DJ facade with uplighting of your choice.

Do we provide a meal for the DJ?
  • ​A meal is not required. However, it is gladly appreciated being that the DJ is working long hours before and after the event.

Is set up and break down included in the contracted price?
  • ​Yes. We typically arrive an hour before the event to set up and stay an hour after the event to break down. There is no set up and break down fee. It is included in the contracted price.

How interactive is DJ Chizz?
  • That is completely up to you! We are as interactive as you want us to be. If you want us to be conservative, energetic, or just go with the flow, it is your choice. We can be party animals or laid back socialites! Whatever you prefer.

What do we need to provide the DJ?
  • ​All we need is 2 electrical outlets and 6 foot by 6 foot space! We provide everything from chords, tables, to music, and everything in between.
